Attention should be paid to some issues in the design of various stamping structures at the beginning, which can achieve twice the result with half the effort. When designing drop type stamping parts, attention should be paid to saving metal materials and designing the shape of the workpiece reasonably, which is beneficial for material conservation. Avoid sharp edges and corners. If the stamped part has slender sharp corners, it is easy to experience flash or collapse. When designing the structure of drop type stamping parts, it should not be too narrow, and the groove should not be too narrow. If it is too narrow, it will make it difficult to make the mold and have a low lifespan. The rounded edges and transition edges should not be tangent to save metal materials and avoid undercutting. The structural design of concave stamping parts should have a slope at the main concave to avoid friction between the tenon and the inner wall of the mold when the workpiece comes out of the concave mold.
The structural design of bent parts should pay attention to the incision at the bending point. When narrow materials are bent with small radii, to prevent widening of the bending point, the bending point of the workpiece should be designed as a incision. To have pre punched grooves, on punched parts with holes, if the holes are near the bending curve, crescent shaped grooves or small holes can be pre punched to prevent deformation of the small holes. Pre install anti crack grooves. When bending locally, pre install anti crack grooves or move the bending curve outward to prevent node tearing. The shape should be symmetrical, and the shape of the curved part should be as symmetrical as possible, so that the workpiece can be uniformly stressed and reach the predetermined size. The bending reinforcement can increase the stiffness of the workpiece and reduce rebound. The shape of the blank should be simple, and the shape of the workpiece is conducive to simplifying the unfolding shape of the metal material. The curved part should be pre cut to prevent wrinkling. Increase the stiffness of the support hole to ensure that the short edge is flipped out during the bending process after the support hole is bent
The structural design of stretching parts should be as simple and symmetrical as possible, with cylindrical, conical, spherical, non rotating, and spatial bending, increasing the difficulty of forming time and time again. The width of the flange edge should be consistent, otherwise stretching is difficult and process and material consumption need to be increased. The diameter of the flange edge should not be too large, otherwise it will be difficult to stretch. The structural design of stamping parts should pay attention to the fact that the ribs should be similar or symmetrical to the shape of the parts. The combination of stamped parts should use stamped parts instead of forged parts, which will make manufacturing simpler and more accurate.
